This is a genuine lava rock from Iceland that I wrapped with 14K gold filled wire. It dangles on a 1 inch gold chain on a silky black 18 inch necklace with a gold metal lobster claw clasp. BACKGROUND STORY:

This lava rock was found by a geologist on a trip I made to Iceland. He actually climbed up a volcano to get them! The 1,300 ft. high tephra explosion crater is located near Lake Myvatn in northern Iceland. The eruption was some 2800 years ago.
